Three years ago I have developed few facebook application on a trial hosting space. I had to delete them because the trial contract expired.
But I had the source code and recoverd the application again. before deleting it, The application had 65 thousand users.
Now, without any advertisment and listing, within few days, It attracted nearly 500 users.

For those who want to exercise their creativity and receive a true one to one response from users, I suggest you to write a Facebook application. (If you have the idea)

• The Requirements:
• 1.       Idea
• 2.       Knowledge of programming, every IT graduate must have the knowledge otherwise he / she has cheated in the exams
• 3.       Know the Facebook rules
• 4.       Facebook Installed on your host or an Accelerated Facebook hosting
• 5.       Good friends who add your application and their friends and so on
• 6.       ....

Problems I faced at the beginning

• 1.       I didn't know what does this means
• "require_once '/home/-----/facebook/facebook-platform/client/facebook.php';"
• I thought this file is on Facebook server and after hours of struggle, I found out that I have to have facebook api on my host.
• 2.       I couldn't make it work on my own host so I used an accelerated facebook host
• 3.       I'm a VB.net programmer and the resources for facebook .net application development were few.

4.       So I chose php, since I have learned C languages at college, it was little easy little tough to write php applications.

What amazed me in Facebook

• 1.       Facebook animation
• 2.       <fb swf> tag, <fb:request-form tag and all other FBML tags
• 3.       The most amazing developer site, API and FBML Test consol, Wiki pages, ...
• 4.       And finally how it shows the uid list. It gets uid, loads the photo, checks your network
